July 4th Weekend Closure

The Visitor Center will be closed and will not be offering campus tours July 3rd-5th in observation of the holiday. Self-guided tours maps can be found by clicking the "Self-Guided Tours" link in the footer of our website. We will resume campus tours on Monday, July 6th.

New Discover Stanford Sessions Available

Due to high demand for Discover Stanford sessions during the summer, 12:45pm information sessions have been added on the following Mondays and Fridays: July 7, July 10, July 13, July 17, July 20, July 24, July 27, July 31, August 3, August 7, August 10 and August 14. Pre-registration is required; sign up on the events calendar.

Student Forum Offerings

Student Forums will be available for prospective students periodically throughout the summer. Please check back on this announcements page closer to your visit date to see if Student Forum will be offered during your visit to campus. Currently, Student Forums will be held on June 26, June 29 and July 2 at 12:30pm.

Tour & Program Registration

Discover Stanford programs, golf cart tours, and other Special Interest tours for the first half of 2015 (through September 30) are now available for online registration.

Humanities and Arts Tour

During the Spring 2015 quarter, Visitor Information Services began offering student-led "Humanities and Arts" tours. The tours last for one hour, and online pre-registration is required. The tour gives an overview of the humanities and arts at Stanford, and passes by a number of buildings on campus, including Bing Concert Hall, Anderson Collection, Cantor Arts Center, Rodin Sculpture Garden, Main Quad and Green Library. We will be adding our limited summer Humanities and Arts tours to the calendar soon.
